Actually, they are both good at ignoring the implications.

All three, even.

Urquhart, even feeling as he does at the moment, under the curse, actively ignores the fact (for example) how wonderfully both Saffron and Moist are 'fox' to his 'wolf', just like the man who had brought him down. As if he was completing something. Or as if they were completing him.

She just feels so right there, just now, fitting snugly as if in a corner made for her. Urquhart bends down to kiss her again.
