"Bread and sauces to dip in," Urquhart says, shrugging. Actually, it's fluffy oriental wheat bread and several different spicy meat sauces, yoghurt with herbs, seafood in garlic, and chickpea sauce, with a large jar of cool peppermint tea.

He's hungry. And he likes spicy things.
