OOM: Cooking with Moist
Urquhart leads the way upstairs, to his room, and opens the door.
There are books stacked beside the divan now, and a long table with bowls and knives and fruit in basket.
"Bath first, or cooking first?"

"Oh, they use them in Klatchian cooking. I like turnips better."

While the tiles are a bit slippery, they will dry easily, and not give problems as boards or rugs would.

Once he's out and slightly drier, he relaxes on the bed, "I've helped make pastries, long ago."

"What did you do?" he asks. "Knead the dough? Fill it?"

They're comfortable, but require a good bit of cinching to fit.
Its odd to talk about this with anyone, but Moist doesn't mind too much with Urquhart.

He's gone to his kitchen sideboard, and contemplated things there.
"I think three big eggplants will be enough," he says, weighing them in his hands.

Moist walks over and looks at what Urquhart's choosing.

He takes an eggplant, cuts off the green part with a large kitchen knife, then cuts it into long slices, then crosswise again to longish bits with purple skin on either end. "That how one cuts an eggplant, at least for what I'm making," Urquhart says, and offers Moist the knife for him to cut the next one.

He nods and starts cutting, he's naturally neat so the pieces end up about the same size.
