Saffron, after Cubefall

There are just a few candles flickering in Urquhart's room; the rest is darkened and quiet.

He comes in backwards, pulling Saffron with him, and kicks the door shut in a hurry.

"You've pinpointed the current state of my body down to the last useless muscle," she murmurs, smiling lazily.

One leg winds up tangled with his as she uses his shoulder as a makeshift pillow.

Urquhart says nothing. He is just very, very relaxed and pleased.

She knows he might not be able to fall asleep, but that doesn't stop her from drifting in and out, dozing lightly.

[scots_wolf]

He doesn't want to sleep. He just wants to relax and have Saffron with him.

He may doze on occasion, though.

After a relaxing hour of this, she stirs, stretching along his side.

"We should eat something," she murmurs, voice quiet. "Or take a bath."

"Yes to both," Urquhart says. "Which first?"

[yosafbridge]

"Food first," she decides, sitting up and winding her arms above her head in a stretch.

"Then bath."

[scots_wolf]

"You look very lovely that way, you know," Urquhart says. "Want anything special, or shall I just get the rats to bring up generic food?"

Of course he won't. He's particular about his food anyway.

[yosafbridge]

"You're biased," she counters, but leans down to kiss him just the same.

"I'll have what you're having."

[scots_wolf]

"Biased in favour of red hair, and a dimpled chin, and, oh, breasts," Urquhart says, looking at her with deep appreciation.

Then, he sits up and picks up his cloak to wrap around himself while he goes and orders.

Wearing a cloak is not naked!

"Well, in that case, I can hardly blame you," she replies, with a quiet giggle.

She slips into his shirt when he orders their food, the fabric long enough to go down to the tops of her thighs, fingers combing through her mussed red curls.

"Being a wolf gave me an appetite for more than one thing," she adds, when he returns.

"Food will be up momentarily," he announced, smirking at her. "My shirt never looked so enticing on me, I'm sure!"

"You'd be surprised," she murmurs.

"Though most of the time I'm usually focused on getting it off you."

[scots_wolf]

"That's not so hard," Urquhart grins, sitting on the divan, cloak still haphazardly wrapped around him.

[yosafbridge]

"Not at all," she teases, sliding her arms around his neck, pulling herself into his lap.

"Maybe you should make it harder."

[scots_wolf]

He moves his legs and arms a little so she can settle on him quite comfortably on him.

"Want to tear it off me in shreds?" he grins.

[yosafbridge]

She leans in, nuzzling his cheek and nipping at his earlobe.

"If you like. It's your shirt. It also depends on how needy I am for you."

"If I make you need me enough..." Urquhart smirks.

[yosafbridge]

"A task that you would undoubtedly commit yourself to wholeheartedly."

She wiggles teasingly in his lap.

"Though maybe I could make you need me first."

[scots_wolf]

"So I'd make it easier for you?" he teases.

[yosafbridge]

"A girl appreciates things being made easier," she murmurs.

"But I don't mind putting in a little hard work when it'll pay off."

[scots_wolf]

"And I do my best to make it worth it," Urquhart says.

There is a knock on the door.

[yosafbridge]

"I'll get it," she volunteers, hopping off from his lap and moving to answer the door in his shirt alone.

"What'd you order?"

She brings back the covered tray, setting it down and lifting the lid.

"Bread and sauces to dip in," Urquhart says, shrugging. Actually, it's fluffy oriental wheat bread and several different spicy meat sauces, yoghurt with herbs, seafood in garlic, and chickpea sauce, with a large jar of cool peppermint tea.

He's hungry. And he likes spicy things.

She hasn't even realized how hungry she is until her stomach starts to growl, and brings the tray to set it up between them, sitting down indian-style on the divan.

"God, that looks good - and I'm starved," she murmurs, grabbing a piece of bread and dipping it in one of the meat sauces.
